Kala Kissa Calicut University A Zone Kalotsavam was held from 8th to 12th February 2026 at KSHM College, Edathanattukara. Praveena P, a Malayalam Optional Student Teacher of Holy Family B.Ed. College, Koduvayur, won the Third Prize in the Essay Writing (Malayalam) Competition.

Government College, Chittur, in association with the Department of Mathematics, conducted “Beyond the Limits!” - an Intercollegiate Mathematics Quiz Competition on Friday, 6 February 2026, at MG Hall, Government College, Chittur. Sreyasree and Sreelakshmi, Mathematics optional student teachers of Holy Family College of Education for Women, secured 4th place out of 40 teams. The certificates were presented by Capt. Dr. Rijulal G, Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry.

Energy Club Inter Collegiate Debate Competition is scheduled for January 27, 2026, at the Senate House University Campus. from 10:30 AM. Team of two students from the college can come with the letter from the principal. The winning team can represent the University of Calicut in the State level competition. Miss Aishwarya and Miss Aarthi Nanda, students of Holy Family College of Education for Women, Koduvayur, won the third prize in the debate competition titled "Facing on Fossil Fuels" organized by the Energy Club at Calicut University. Miss Aishwarya, a student of Holy Family College, Koduvayur, was selected as the best debater in the debate competition titled "Facing on Fossil Fuels" organized by the Energy Club at Calicut University and qualified to compete in the state level competition

A Two Day International Multidisciplinary Conference on “Performance, Embodiment and the Politics of Expression in a Changing World” was conducted by Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies, Palakkad on Thursday, January 22 through Google Meet. The conference session was held from 10:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and witnessed the participation of scholars, teachers, and students from various disciplines. Ms. Akshaya Murali, Second Year B.Ed. student of Holy Family College of Education for Women, Koduvayur, presented a research paper titled “Perception and Preparedness of Second-year Pre-Service English Teacher Trainees for Theatre-based Learning: An Exploratory Study.” The paper focused on the role of theatre-based learning in English language teaching and analyzed the awareness, attitudes, and readiness of pre-service teachers towards using theatrical techniques in classrooms. Alumnae Book Donation to Book Bank 2025

On 19th August 2025, the 2023–2025 batch alumnae of Holy Family B.Ed College generously donated books to the Book Bank. The initiative aims to support students by providing access to academic resources and reducing financial burden, thereby fostering a culture of sharing and learning. The contribution of the alumnae reflects their gratitude to the institution and their commitment to help future batches. The librarian, Mrs. Subha, collected the books with appreciation. The Principal and staff acknowledged the noble gesture and highlighted the importance of the Book Bank in promoting inclusive education.
