Charity of Alumnae 2024

On 1st August 2024,Holy Family College in collaboration with Alumnae Association has raised donation through the ‘Save Wayanad’ project to help persons affected by natural disasters in Wayanad. Alumnae of Holy Family B. Ed College actively supported to raise financial contributions. On August 12, 2024, the Principal of Holy Family B. Ed College, Dr.Sr. Anitha Chiramel personally handed over a fund of Rs 44,000 to Ms. Dr. S.Chithra IAS, the District Collector of Palakkad.

Alumnnae Meet 2024

Holy Family College of Education, Koduvayur in collaboration with IQAC was held an Alumnae meet of 2021-2023 &2022-2024 batch on 19th October 2024,at Seminar Hall. Around 95 alumnnae students were participated in this meet. The meeting began at 9.30 am with a morning prayer. Then faculty Mrs Thasmi A S gave a welcome speech. Alumnae Secretary Deepti C. read the Alumni Report. Dr. Sister Anitha Chiramel, Principal of the college delivered a speech. Alumnae then shared their life experiences. Later, Alumnae members for the year 2024-2025 were elected. Vice President- Abhirami, Secretary- Muralika and Member- Maria Joseph. The Meeting came to an end at 10.30 a.m. with vote of thanks by Mrs Uma T H, faculty of the college.

World Ozone Day 2022

The Institution has been observed World Ozone Day 2022 in the college campus on 16th September 2022, to create awareness among student teachers about the depletion of Ozone layer and its dangerous. A programme was organised by IQAC coordinator Asst. Prof. Smitha Mathew. Our principal Dr Sr. Valsa T Chiramel, Alumnae Student Shyamini, faculties, non teaching staff and student teachers were present in the programme. During the programme, a speech was given by Shifana and Harishma, 1st year student teachers. They explained that World Ozone Day was celebrated to spread awareness among people about the depletion of Ozone layer and to find the possible solutions to preserve it. After that ,entire Institution took a pledge to save electricity, water and paper, make efforts to protect ozone layer, keep their surroundings free of garbage, plant a tree each and avoid the use of plastic. Farewell Day 2022

On 15th June 2022, the junior student teachers arranged a farewell party to the 26th batch final year outgoing student teachers. Farewell is basically a get together celebration for the seniors who will be soon stepping out of the institution. After this, seniors shared their views and experience about the institution and recollect  their college days. A farewell song sung by juniors and dedicated to their seniors. A Token of love given to teaching and non teaching staff. A projector stand, extension cable was given to the institution by the senior student teachers. As part of spreading the light of goodness and knowledge to the world, our principal sister Dr.Sr. Valsa T Chiramel lited the lamps for each senior students and give them. Thus the environment of enthusiasm was experienced and it was memorable event to all in the institution.

Farewell Ceremony and Award Day Celebration

Our beloved Principal Rev Dr Sr Santhi Parapully chf retired recently and a farewell function was held in her honor and also celebrated Award Ceremony on 23rd May 2022. For this occasion, the college auditorium beautiful decorated. Inaugural Address by Provincial Superior Rev. Dr. Sr.Pushpa chf. Presidential address by Vicar St. Thomas Church Koduvayur Rev. Fr. Jaiju Kozhuppakalam, Valedictory address by Dr. Mrs. Balambika K. S Principal of B. S. S. Training College Alathur. Dr. Mrs Renuka P. C. V. Principal B.V.N Training College Kallekkad, Sr. Josephine Principal Marian College and P. T. A President remembered many events from their beautiful moments. The Academic Awards for the year  were bestowed on the meritorious students by Rev Dr Sr Santhi Parapully chf. All of them prayed to God for her a happy retired life. The ceremony ended on an emotional note following which the audience were entertained by medley of songs, and graceful dances by the students.
